In this article, I’m going to share a 3-step system I use to work remotely from a laptop, another desktop computer, or even a tablet (note: this only works for certain software — since touch controls aren’t always suitable for them).

Dans cet article, je vais vous partager un système en 3 étapes que j'utilise pour travailler à distance depuis un ordinateur portable, un autre ordinateur fixe ou même une tablette ( attention cela ne marche que pour certains logiciels - dû à l'inadéquation du tactile pour leur utilisation).
Step 01
You’ll need to get a smart plug, ideally one that works with Google Home, Alexa, or another connected home automation system.
For example, I went with the TP-Link brand (around €10), which worked really well and I control it through the Alexa Home app on my Android.

Etape 01
Il vous acheter une prise connectée, avec essentiellement un accès à Google Home et/ou Alexa ou autre système de domotique connecté.
Pour exemple j'ai pris la marque TP-Link (10 € environ), qui a très bien fonctionné, et que je contrôle via l'appli Alexa Home sur mon android.
Etape 02
Plug your desktop into the smart plug. Now, you need to set up your computer to power on automatically when the smart plug is turned on — in other words, as soon as it receives power.
A simple way to do this is to go into the BIOS and set AC BACK (or similar) to ALWAYS ON.

Etape 02
Branchez votre tour sur la prise. Il faut maintenant programmer votre ordinateur pour qu'il s'allume quand on allume la prise connectée. Donc lui dire que dès qu'il recoit du courant, il s'allume.
Une manière simple de le faire est d'aller dans le bios et de choisir le setting : AC BACK = ALWAYS ON.
Etape 02
And there you go, you can turn on your computer while you're on the subway so it's ready by the time you arrive (if you're like me and can't stand wasting a single second haha), or better yet, you can connect remotely using certain desktop sharing services. I use Chrome Remote Desktop, and it works great.
Now you can launch heavy 3D renders remotely on your computer, even if it has a weak integrated graphics card.

Etape 03
Et voilà, vous pouvez allumer votre ordinteur dans le métro pour qu'il soit prêt en arrivant juste en allumant votre prise via l'appli de votre portable ( si vous avez un problème comme moi et que vous ne supportez pas de perdre une seconde haha) ou plutôt, vous pouvez vous connectez à distance via certains services de partage de bureau. J'utilise Chrome Remote Desktop, et ça marche très bien.
Et voilà, maintenant vous pouvez lancer de gros renders de 3D à distance sur votre ordinateur qui a une carte graphique chipset toute faible.
